TREDEGAR FILM PRODUCTS PRESENTS NEW PRODUCTS AT INDEX '05
RICHMOND, Va., March 9, 2005 -- Tredegar Film Products Corporation will showcase a variety of new products at Index ’05, the world’s largest nonwovens exhibition, which will be held April 12-15 in Geneva, Switzerland.
AquiDry3™ , which expands Tredegar’s family of transfer layers to give the company one of the widest ranges of transfer layers in the industry, was developed to reduce surface wetness in baby diapers and adult incontinence products. AquiDry3™ is one of Tredegar’s film-based ADLs that allows manufacturers to reduce the amount of superabsorbent up to 25 percent. AquiDry3™ features dual apertures, enhanced softness and a unique visual design while maintaining the high absorption and dryness performance of the original AquiDry™ family.
ComfortAire™, the latest entry in Tredegar’s topsheet offerings, is primarily targeted for use in feminine hygiene products. It is a high loft and flexible nonwoven laminate that combines the softness of a nonwoven with the fluid performance of a film, allowing consumers to enjoy protection with comfort.
ComfortClean™ , an innovation in protective apparel, marks the company’s entry into this market.
StretchTab™ laminates are made with Tredegar’s proven FabriFlex™ elastic laminates, nonwovens and hook, all on one roll for closure systems.
Other Tredegar products to be featured at Index ’05 include soft, flexible FabriFlex™ laminates, along with ComfortQuilt™, the apertured nonwoven topsheet specifically developed for diapers for nursing babies.
